Designed for advanced students who have previously completed a minimum of one cosmetic tattooing course, or have tattooing experience.

The 1 Day Areola Tattooing Course is designed for Cosmetic Tattooists or Tattoo Artists wanting to learn the art of Areola Tattooing. This course will cover all the basics of mapping out the areola’s, in-depth colour theory and tattooing ultra realistic 3D Areola Tattooing.

The 3 Day Areola Tattooing Course is designed for beginners to the industry and Cosmetic Tattooists or Tattoo Artists wanting to learn the art of Medical Tattooing. This course will cover all the basics of tattooing, as well as colour theory and tattooing a wide range of different scars; Hypopigmentation (sun damage white spots), Hypo-pigmented scars, self harm scars, face and breast lift scars, tummy tuck and caesarian scars.

What you need to obtain prior:

Maintain infection control certificate
4 models to work on
If you are attending a kitless course please ensure you bring your tattoo machine (this can be cordless or with a cord) and pigments.
Professional indemnity & public liability insurance

Ongoing Mentoring & Support:

Once the course is completed Shelby will certify you as a cosmetic tattooist and you are legally allowed to gain insurances and practise in Australia as a cosmetic tattooist. Please note you must follow council regulations (which will be covered during this course) and have completed Maintain Infection Control Certificate.

Shelby offers 12 month mentoring once the course has commenced – you are always welcome back to Restore to over see her working on real clients. You are also welcomed to do your first 10 clients/additional models at Restore under Shelby’s supervision, at no additional cost to you! This can help build your confidence and skills quicker than if you were to go straight out on your own after the course.
